Media Services Classroom and Event Technology

Description of Service

Classroom and Event Technology provides room design, classroom support, and equipment distribution services to support the instructional technology needs of the university community. We design, install, maintain, and assist our customers with classroom technology solutions throughout the APU campus and regional centers. We also provide portable, self-service equipment for classrooms and events.

Customer Responsibilities

Our event processing hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. We require a minimum of 4 business hours notice for any event (e.g. An event happening Monday morning at 9:00am would need to be submitted all necessary information by the previous Friday at 2:00pm), with larger events requiring 2 weeks notice. With any borrowed equipment, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the equipment is returned in the same condition in which it was delivered.

Service Level Agreement

We strive to respond to all requests within 2 business days. We will have all equipment set up and tested by a customer-specified time before the event and train the customer on the equipment's use. During our normal operating hours (Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-10:00pm and Friday, 7:00am-6:00pm), our technicians will show up at the beginning of the events to ensure they begin smoothly, and can also assist you during the event on an on-call basis. After events conclude, our technicians will come and tear down all provided equipment.
