VIDEO Conferencing Services

Description of Service

IMT Media Services provides hardware, software and consultation to allow users to connect and collaborate via video conferencing. All classrooms and the majority of the conference rooms on campus are outfitted with video conferencing equipment, ranging from our "HyFlex 2.0" design rooms with two TVs, to simple camera and speakerphone installations.

Requesting Service

To request video conferencing equipment, please fill out the Media & Technology Request Form.

Customer Responsibilities

While you are welcome to use the conferencing software of your choice, please know that IMT fully supports the use of Zoom as we have an institutional license. We can also support Google Hangouts. If you would like to use a different service (e.g., Skype, Bluejeans, Microsoft Teams), we can only assist you in setting up the necessary hardware.

Please submit your request at least 2 weeks in advance.

Service Level Agreement

Our video conferencing hardware can be set up by a technician for on-campus use. We fully support videoconferencing with Google Hangouts and Zoom, but cannot guarantee full support for other video conferencing services.
