Single Sign on Integration

Description of Service

Some applications require a username and password. Having a unique username and password for every tool that requires a log in is very cumbersome! Single Sign On enables you to use your APU logon credentials, to securely logon to multiple applications and websites.

Implementing SSO integration can get complicated. For simplicity and sustainability, APU prefers to work with vendors who are members of the InCommon Federation. The InCommon Federation is the U.S. education and research identity federation, providing a common framework for trusted shared management of access to on-line resources.

Requesting Service

You can make a SSO integration request by filling out this form. Please note, this form contains some highly technical questions which may require the assistance of the vendor's technical support personnel. Once you complete the Google Form, you may be asked to facilitate a meeting request between an IMT Engineer and the vendor's technical resource.

Help for Service

If the SSO integration is no longer working and the vendor determines a change is necessary on APU systems, you can submit a support ticket for assistance.
