Events.apu.edu (25 Live)
Description of Service
25Live grants access to faculty, staff and students to request meetings and events throughout the campus. 25Live acts as our combined class scheduling and events reconciliation tool. It is also responsible for optimizing the class placement on the Azusa Campus. Due to the limited space on the Azusa Campus events and classes often need to share space. 25Live allows APU to keep both of those in sync which allows us to steward our space well.
25live is in use at APU to serve two major departments. The first department is the academic registrar. Both the Graduate and Undergraduate Registrar use the integration between 25Live and PeopleSoft to maintain the location of classes on the Azusa Campus. The second department is Event Services, who uses the software to keep track of where meetings and events will be held. Having the data in 25Live additionally means that both groups are able to collaborate and work together in the flexible, always changing dynamic of scheduling.
